My name is Aliyah. I'm a single mom of 4 kids. We started traveling in June 2018, so almost 6 years now! Only 3 are currently traveling with me now as my 20 year old daughter is forging her own path in life.

We came to Morocco shortly after our travels begain and quickly fell in love with the country and the city of Agadir. We had a wonderful time with Moroccan people who invited us into their culture and their homes without really knowing us at all. We called Morocco home for almost 4 years, my youngest daughter was born there, and it has been one of the only places I've ever felt like home.  I'm hoping to give families a more personal view into Moroccan culture far from the hustle and bustle of more well-known locations.

Agadir is a big city, but not impossibly huge. Most of the activities will be located in the Agadir Bay / Founty / Secteur Touriste area. The best areas for most families will be located next to Secteur Touriste such as Talborjt, the Abbatoir area, or the Haut Fountry area. More budget accomodations can be found in Hay al Mohammedi, Bensergao, Hay Dahkla, or Tilila. These locations are about 20 minutes to the center by taxi. Avoid staying in Inezgane, Dcheira, or Tikioune as it will be difficult for transportation.

For getting around town, there is an easy and cheap bus system. The local red taxis allow 3 riders, the larger (grand) shared taxis are availble in town and for private hire, plus the InDriver ride share app can be used.
