About The Event

Come join us in Denver for a fun-filled and community-centered Worldschooling Pop-up July 9-16, 2022.

Our pop-ups provide a super casual, budget-friendly opportunity to gather together, connect with other worldschoolers, share your insights, instill new friendships, learn about the local area, and immerse in a friendly, accepting mobile community.

We've cherry-picked the best low- or no-cost activities that highlight local nature, arts, history, food, and culture....but you'll also have plenty of time to relax, get to know each other and even stray from the itinerary to add activities that cater to the group's interests (we provide plenty of supplemental ideas to tailor your experience).

Pop in for a few days or the full week. Join as many activities as you'd like. It's up to you! We would love to have you come and simply HANG OUT with like-minded families while we dive in and explore the local offerings.

Our itinerary will include activities such as the following:

*Tour the State Capitol Building

*Hike at Red Rocks Park

*Tour Hammond's Candy Factory

*Enjoy a Jazz Concert in the Park

*View modern art at Dikeou Collection

*See bison at Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge

*Listen at the Colorado Music Hall of Fame

*Visit the Money Museum

*Walking Olde Town Arvada

*Visit Littleton Historical Museum

*Browse the Mile High Flea Market

*Enjoy the great outdoors with hikes and swims in the mountain parks

LODGING and other information:

The host family is staying in the Platt Park area, but Denver has good light rail systems, along with buses, so no one neighborhood is better than another (though do read reviews about neighborhood safety before booking).

Camping and RV hookups can be found at Bear Creek Lake (we will have pop-up folks at this campground), Cherry Creek State Park, Indian Paintbrush Campgrounds, Prospect RV Park and Golden Terrace South RV.
