Come join us in Langkawi, Malaysia for a fun-filled and community-centered worldschooling gathering April 28 - May 4, 2024.

The Worldschool Pop-Up Hub provides super casual, budget-friendly opportunities to gather, connect with other worldschoolers, learn about the local area, instill new friendships, share your insights, and immerse in a friendly, accepting mobile community. Our activities highlight local nature, history, food, and culture... but you'll also have plenty of time to relax, get to know each other, and even stray from the itinerary to add activities that cater to the group's interests.

Pop in for a few days or the full week. Join as many activities as you'd like. It's up to you!

Add-on options include Dreamforest, Cable Car/Oriental Village, MARDI farming complex, Island-hopping tour in Dayang Bunting by boat or jetski, and more.

Greetings fellow worldschoolers! We're a passionate traveling family with over a decade of adventures spanning 22 countries. Our journey began over 10 years ago, and our two incredible daughters, aged 6 and 1, have known no other lifestyle than one filled with exploration and learning on the road. While we've naturally embraced the worldschooling concept, discovering its formal term has added a beautiful perspective to our travels. Currently stationed in the enchanting haven of Langkawi, Malaysia, we're drawn to the island's rich cultural tapestry and diverse experiences it offers.  We're excited to connect with other families, learn, and create lasting memories together.

LODGING & NEIGHBORHOODS & TRANSPORT:

Pantai Cenang is one of the most popular tourist spots on Langkawi Island and is situated close to Langkawi Airport. The nightlife here is great, and if you are a first-timer on Langkawi Island, then this is a great and convenient spot. If you still want to be close to the hustle and bustle but would prefer it to be more family-friendly, just head to the nearby Pantai Tengah. However, if you're seeking a peaceful area, Pantai Kok and Tanjung Rhu would be the ideal areas for you.

There are a few camping spots available. It's also common to go wild camping at the beach. The host lives in Kuah, the main city on Langkawi.

Grab is widely available on the island. You can also rent a bicycle, scooter or car to get around.
