Come join us in London, England, for a fun-filled and community-centered worldschooling gathering Nov 5-12, 2022.

Our pop-ups provide a super casual, budget-friendly opportunity to gather, connect with other worldschoolers, learn about the local area, instill new friendships, share your insights, and immerse in a friendly, accepting mobile community.

We've cherry-picked the best low- or no-cost activities that highlight local nature, arts, history, food, and culture... but you'll also have plenty of time to relax, get to know each other, and even stray from the itinerary to add activities that cater to the group's interests (we provide supplemental ideas to tailor your experience).

Pop in for a few days or the full week. Join as many activities as you'd like. It's up to you! We would love to have you come and simply hang out with like-minded families while we dive in and explore the local offerings.

Our itinerary will include activities such as the following:

*Parks Galore: Hyde, Battersea, St James, & Regent's

*Borough Market

Add-on options include the London Eye, Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, Sherlock Holmes Museum, Harry Potter Shop, day trip to Stonehenge or to see dinosaurs & the maze at Crystal Palace, Madame Tussauds, Prime Meridian Line & Queen's House, Kensington Palace & its swans, loads of museums, a theatre production, Thames boat ride, Fulham Palace, Hampton Court Palace... and way more!

LODGING & NEIGHBORHOODS:

It's safe to say there will be no localized neighborhood for this pop-up. We will group activities by area to explore a different part of the city each day. Expect most of our time to be within central London between Kensington Palace in the West, Tower of London in the East, Regent's Park in the North, and Battersea Park in the South. 

The host family will stay in Fulham near the Parsons Green Tube Station. Airbnb, Agoda, Booking, and other search engines have short-term apartments available. TRANSPORT CARDS:

It's also safe to say you will need to purchase some sort of public transport card to keep costs down. There are Oyster Cards, Travelcards, Young Visitor Discounts, and single pay tickets. MEET YOUR HOST:

Rachel and her family will be hosting this event. Rachel's family has been on the road full time since 2018 with plenty of travel experience prior to that. Two of their children will join in this pop-up (ages 13 and 15), their oldest is out of the home. Favorite family travel destinations include Spain, New Zealand, Hawaii, South Africa, and Florida Keys, though Rachel also loves Sweden, Switzerland, and Laos. This will be Rachel's 13th pop-up as a host and 14th pop-up overall.
