MEET YOUR HOST:
Rachel & family are long-time Wisconsin residents, or were before they sold everything in 2014 and moved to Hawaii. They've been completely nomadic since 2018 and are returning to one of their home bases for summer 2023. Favorite family travel destinations include New Zealand, Spain, London, South Africa, Â and Hawaii. Their kids will be 13, 16, and 18 by the time of the Madison Pop-Up.
LODGING & NEIGHBORHOODS:
Many of our activities will take place in downtown Madison, staying downtown or on the near east or west sides is recommended. The host family will stay on the near West side, close to Madison West high school.
Camping and RV options: Multiple locations are available; we recommend William G. Lunney Lake Farm County Park (close to town) or Blue Mounds State Park (beautiful park, low mosquito count, but will entail more driving).
