About The Event
Come join us in Seoul, South Korea, for a fun-filled week from September 24-30, 2023.
Our pop-ups provide a super casual, budget-friendly opportunity to gather together, connect with other worldschoolers, share your insights, instill new friendships, learn about the local area, and immerse in a friendly, accepting mobile community.
We've cherry-picked the best low- or no-cost activities that highlight local nature, arts, history, food, and culture....but you'll also have plenty of time to relax, get to know each other and even stray from the itinerary to add activities that cater to the group's interests (we provide plenty of supplemental ideas to tailor your experience).
Pop in for a few days or the full week. Join as many activities as you'd like. It's up to you! We would love to have you come and simply hang out with like-minded families while we dive in and explore the local offerings.

MEET YOUR HOST(s):
Rachel & family sold everything in 2014 and never have looked back. They've been completely nomadic since 2018, homeschooling their three children. Some of their favorite family travel destinations include Turkey, Romania, New Zealand, Spain, and London. Their two younger kids will join the Seoul Pop-Up and will be 14 and 16 years old at the time.
Coming soon: We have a potential co-host who may join us in leading this event!
LODGING & NEIGHBORHOODS:
Many of our activities will take place near the Myeong-dong and Insa-dong Neighborhoods, so if you like to be central, these are great areas to stay. Insa-dong has more of a local feel. However, Seoul is a safe city as long as you use common sense, there really are no bad neighborhoods, just pay attention to distances from this central area.Â
Subways are easy to navigate, we recommend staying near a subway station. The host family will be staying (uphill) from the Myeongdong Subway Station.Â
