A week-long gathering for traveling families to explore the beauty of Florida's lower keys. We plan to visit Ft Zachary Taylor, the Key West farmer's market, swimming and snorkeling beaches, the jumping bridge, Bahia Honda State Park, the southernmost point in the continental US and more!

About The Event
Come join us in Florida's lower keys for a fun-filled and community-centered Worldschooling Pop-up April 30 - May 7, 2022.
Have you been dreaming of meeting up with other worldschooling families? Then this is for you! We've planned super casual, budget-friendly gatherings for families to meet each other and enjoy the outdoors. We've cherry-picked the best low- or no-cost local activities but want you to know the keys offer loads of entertaining possibilities. We'll provide you with additional resources and ideas to tailor your own itinerary while here.
Pop in for a few days or the full week. Join as many activities as you'd like. It's up to you! But we would love to have you come and simply HANG OUT with like-minded families while enjoying nature in it's finest. Can't wait to see you there!
Our itinerary will include activities such as the following:
*Fort Zachary Taylor Park for history and amazing beach
*Mallory Square and charming Old Town Key West
*Swimming, snorkeling and beach sunsets
*The jumping bridge
*The Keys Discovery Center
*Observing endangered key deer
*Farmer's market and flea markets
*The southernmost point in the continental US
*A visit to the Honey Farm
*Beach clean-up volunteer opportunity
*A wide assortment of parks, bays, creeks and marine preserves
Add-on options include fishing, boat rides, aquarium, turtle hospital, museums and historic homes...there's so much to explore in the Keys!

$70 Regular Rates (solo parents receive a 25% discount)
LODGING and other information:
Our itinerary includes 4 days in Key West, 2 on Sugarloaf Key, 1 on Stock Island and 1 on either Big Pine Key or Islamorada depending on what your family chooses that day. Families are encouraged to stay between Key West and Bahia Honda State Park. Marathon Key is also acceptable but will be farther from our main events. Your host will be staying on Sugarloaf Key.Â
Camping and RV hookups are available at Bahia Honda State Park. There are also marinas throughout the keys for families on boats.Â
